Thelma Mae Johnson, aged 89, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, in Leesburg, VA. Born on October 19, 1934, Thelma was a lifelong resident who graduated from Lincoln High School and was deeply rooted in her community. Sh Read Obituary
I worshipped with Thelma at the Assembly Of God Church for many years. She was a beautiful Christian lady and was always smiling.
My deepest condolences to her husband, sister, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I worked with Thelma at Prison Fellowship. She always had such a wonderful attitude and she loved everyone. Thelma always had a jar of candy, mostly chocolates, sitting on her desk for everyone to enjoy. She also made the best banana pudding and would bring it to our periodic pot luck luncheons. I once brought a strawberry/whipped cream cake from Harris Teeter for someone's birthday. It was a big hit. The next day in the afternoon Thelma showed up at my desk with a ten dollar bill and said, "If you will go get another one of those cakes, I will pay for it!" So our whole team had that delicious cake two days in a row. I am happy that Thelma is with the Lord and thankful to Him for sharing her with us for 89 years.
