Dear Mrs. Callagy,
Tom and I served aboard USS New together and were very close friends during that time period. Obviously we have not been in touch for many years. Tom was a gentle soul and his musical talent was truly amazing to everyone who knew him. I still have a snapshot of Tom and one of our friends on the ship playing guitars on the fantail at dusk in the middle of the Atlantic somewhere. I can only imagine what an immense loss his passing has been. He was a fine man and all-around great guy. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

When I joined CapRelo I sat next to Tom. He was very nice to work with and taught me a lot about relocation. We also talked about music and I enjoyed listening to the radio with him. Everytime I see something about the Beatles I will think of Tom.

Linda and family:

I was never so shocked to hear the sad news of Tom's passing. I worked with Tom at CapRelo, albeit a short time, I really liked Tom a great deal. Him and I shared the same birthday so we used to have a lot of fun with that. I will miss Tom as I am sure you will miss him terribly. He was one of the good guys. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
