Thomas Andrew Callagy's Obituary
THOMAS ANDREW CALLAGY, JR., 60, of Leesburg passed away at home on Monday, July 9th 2012. Mr. Callagy was born November 15th1951 in Fort Benning, GA to Col. Thomas A. Callagy (retired) and the late Muriel Waggaman Callagy. He served his country in the United States Navy. Mr. Callagy was a lover of music and a natural on the guitar. His favorite past time was spending time with his family playing his guitar and sharing songs he loved.
Mr. Callagy is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Linda F. Callagy of Leesburg; two children: Elizabeth C. Bougie of South Riding, VA, Patrick Thomas Callagy of Rochester, NY; his father: Thomas A. Callagy of Melbourne, FL four siblings: Maggie Gurtcheff of Sumpter, SC, Catherine Barber of Melbourne, FL, Shaun Callagy of North Andover, MA; Elizabeth Harrington of Bethesda, MD; one granddaughter: Katherine Michele Bougie; an Aunt: JoAnn Waggaman of Alexandria, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Mass will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 101 Oak Crest Manor Drive t in Leesburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Capital Caring Hospice Services 2900 Telestar Court, Falls Church, VA 22042
