I was so sorry to learn of Tommy's passing. Please express my deepest sympathy to the entire Hackney family for your loss.

I have known Tommy and your family since I was a teenager growing up in Ashburn, VA, back in the 1960's. We only lived about a mile up the road from them, and my sister and I rode the school bus together to Loudoun County High School with Tommy and his siblings. The Hackney family were all good neighbors and friends to everyone in the community.

May God bless you and fill your heart with grace, peace and comfort in the days ahead.

My deepest condolences to Sandy, Tammy, Chris, Travis, Jason and Families.
I was very saddened to learn about Tommy's passing. Memories take me to our days of Central Loudoun Little League which brought so many of our kids and our families together. I recall so well the many days, weeks and months, I spent together with him and others building Good Times Park so that our kids and all the kids in Leesburg would have a place to play baseball. There were also the great times we had coaching and competing against one another and regardless of who won or lost the game, getting together in good natured bantering and fun when the games were over. I remember Tommy as a humble man of reason and a genuine great person. God has a special place for His special people and I pray you all will find comfort as you reflect on the memories of all the good times and the legacy he has left.

We will always remember the good times with Tommy and Sandy. Afternoons after work at Banner Glass, the Picnics at their home in Paeonian Springs and their friendship. Tommy was a very loved and respected man. He could be serious when he needed to be but always there with a comment or way to make you laugh or smile. We send our sincerest sympathy to Sandy, Tammy, Chris, Travis, and Jason and all of the family. He was one of a kind and will be sorely missed.

I have been reading all the memories and things on Facebook about my uncle Tommy. He was a well loved man. I loved him very much and he will be greatly missed by all especially his wife, Sandy and his children and grandchildren Praying for them that God gives them peace and comfort as they continue life without him. My last memory of him was having lunch with him and aunt Sandy, unfortunately
at another funeral and we were cutting up and having a great time He could always make you laugh sending love to you all..🙏🏻
