Linda, Heather, Wendy and family-
My condolences on this loss to your family. TD was a wonderful man and we enjoyed being neighbors for those many years in Rockledge. I am grateful and thankful for all that you and TD did for my folks as they got on in years.
I worked with quite a number of agencies in Virginia that graduated their law enforcement folks from the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy and those I worked alongside were high performing officers due to the training they received there when entering the job. I am sure TD's leadership played a large part in their success.

Was just looking at a picture of Truman in early October 1962 when a bunch of Colgate ROTC cadets were standing in front of a C-47 prior to an observation/training flight at Griffis AFB in Rome NY. He stood proud and tall and spent a good bit of the afternoon in the co-pilots seat. May he rest in peace having served his family, country, and the world very very well.

TD and I were born a little less than a month apart and I always looked up to my elder. Our mothers were friends and never let nap time interfere with their get togethers. They would just plunk us in the same crib. TD was my crib mate. 81 years is a long time to be able to say you have known someone. You are missed, my friend.
I had the privilege of working more than ten years with Truman. Truman was diligent and dedicated. He had a wonderful, dry sense of humor. Truman enjoyed travel and he was devoted to his family. My deepest sympathy to Linda and to the entire family.
Truman was as fine a gentleman as one ever could hope to meet. Well spoken, well educated, and one whose integrity never faltered.
