Walton B. Eamich's Obituary
Walton Bruce Eamich, Sr., 87, of Purcellville, VA, formerly of Ashburn, died Monday, March 3, 2008, at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.
Walton was born on June 1, 1920, in Waterford, VA. He was a son of the late Bruce Mock Eamich and the late Daisey Dean Eamich. He graduated from Waterford High School, in 1937. He served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II, in the Philippines.
Mr. Eamich worked as a plummer for Arlington County Public Schools. He was a life member and past chief of the Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue. He was also an Trustee and deacon of Ashburn Presbyterian Church. Years ago, Mr. Eamich played mens baseball in Loudoun.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marian Louise (Caylor) Eamich of Lovettsville; his son Walton Bruce Eamich, Jr. & his wife Loretta of Purcellville, VA; and three grandchildren, Christopher B. Eamich, Christina A. and Jason T. Blaylock, and his dog, Wishbone.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Eamich was predeceased by his brother Mervin Maylon Eamich in 1996.
Arrangements are being handled by Loudoun Funeral Chapels, 158 Catoctin Circle, SE 20175, Leesburg, Virginia, where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7 to 9 pm Friday, March 7, 2008. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 11:00 am, at the Ashburn Presbyterian Church, 20962 Ashburn Road, Ashburn, VA 20147, with Assoc. Pastor Mark A. Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Leesburg, Virginia.
