I met Wanda at church in Leesburg VA in 1998. I asked her where ladies bible class met and she told me at her house and I better be there. I was at her house at every class and at least twice a week to play dominos until I moved back to SC in 2005. We have been close friends all these years and I will miss her greatly.

My parents recently moved several blocks away from Wanda and Phil from out of town. What a blessing to have such welcoming souls and to share in their Christian faith together. While accompanying my parents to church, I was always inspired to see Wanda there despite difficult medical issues. Wanda will be truly missed. May God comfort your family and friends.

Phil and Wanda were our next door neighbors for the first 10 years that we lived in leesburg. I always said that living next to them was like living next to your favorite aunt and uncle.
Wanda always had the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood and was so proud to show us her garden and beautiful peonies! She welcomed us into her home and allowed our 4 children to enjoy her fish pond, ride on her elevator and run through her yard.
Rest in peace Wanda, we shall miss you.
