Wanda Buck Marshall's Obituary
Mrs. Wanda B. Marshall, 78 of Ashburn, VA passed on Monday, August 11, 2014.
Wanda was born on Saturday, November 9, 1935 in Alexandria, VA. She was a daughter of the late James S. Buck and the late Wanda Lorena Pratt Buck.
She was a graduate of VA Tech where she received a BS degree in poultry science/education and a MS degree in education.
Wanda was employed by Loudoun County Public School for 28 years, as a teacher and principal until retiring in 1991.
She leaves her family to cherish her memory including her husband of 56 years, Philip Monroe Marshall of Ashburn, VA, two daughters, Lisa M. (Stanley C.) Decker of Casper, WY and Lee Anne (William F.) Foster of Flint Hill, VA, sisters, Regina May Buck of Aldie, VA and Janice Lee White of Aldie, VA; 2 grandchildren, Heather Bright and Brian Decker; and 3 great grandchildren, Delia, Jillian, and Bannon Bright.
In addition to her parents, Wanda was predeceased by a grandson Jason Clark Decker.
A celebration of life service will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Fairfax Church of Christ located at 3901 Rugby Road Fairfax, Virginia, with the Pastor Stephen Rollins officiating.
Interment will be held privately by the family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Capital Caring (hospice) 24419 Millstream Drive Aldie, VA 20105, or to Muscular Dystrophy Association 11800 Sunrise Valley Drive # 1210, Reston, VA 20191.
