Wendy Herst Held's Obituary
“Wendy” Herst Held, 70 of Sterling, VA died on Sunday, September 19, 2010, at INOVA Loudoun Hospital Center in Lansdowne, VA. She was born Friday, June 21, 1940 in Manhattan, NY. She was the daughter of the late Herman Herst, Jr. and the late Ingeborg Adam Herst.
Wendy worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor by assisting people with work-related injuries find new jobs.
She lived in Sterling for the last ten years. She was a member of Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation in Ashburn and was former Sisterhood President of Temple Beth El in San Mateo, CA.
Surviving are daughters, Lisa Rueda and son-in-law: Fernando of Ashburn, VA and Diana Bolsinger and son-in-law: Daniel of Falls Church, VA; 3 loving grandsons: Daniel, Michael and Christian Rueda.
She is also survived by her brother, Ken Herst of Springfield, VA, step-mother: Ida B. Herst of FL, step-sister: Gail Busch of VT, and step-brother: Dr. Gary Busch of U.K.
