Mr. William George von Berg, Jr., 60, of Sterling, VA, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2008 at home with his family by his side. William was born in Rochester, NY on July 28, 1948. He is the son of William G. von Berg, Sr. and B Read Obituary
Hi I am Avery I know you didn't get to meet me I am Sydney sister and she told me great things about you and I really wish I could meet you.
When I was in college, I had the privilege of working for Mr. von Berg during the summers at First American Bank. He was always kind to me, treated me with much respect, and taught me many things about business and professionalism. Mr. von Berg wrote a letter of recommendation for me after I graduated from college and began searching for my first full time job. I'm quite certain that it was his kind words that helped me land that first job.
I'm saddened to learn that Mr. von Berg's life ended far too soon. It has been well over 20 years since I last saw him, but he made a lasting impression on me.
